How it works
You are trying to choose a nursing home for someone you love, and you do not have days to read inspection reports one home at a time. Here is exactly what happens when you enter your ZIP, so you know precisely what you are paying $19 for and what it can and cannot do.
Use the ZIP where your parent lives now, the ZIP where you would like them to be, or your own. That single number tells us where to look. We turn it into a map location so we can measure how far each home is from that point.
We read directly from Medicare's official Care Compare data, the Provider Information dataset that CMS publishes for every certified nursing home in the country. We filter to your state, then rank the homes by straight-line distance from your ZIP and keep the closest ones. These are the same homes Medicare would show you, gathered into one place instead of one search at a time.
For each home, we lay the important numbers side by side so you can read them across a row instead of clicking through page after page:
The best-rated homes near you are called out at the top. Any home carrying a one-star rating or an abuse flag is marked clearly, not buried. The point is not to scare you off a home, but to make sure nothing important is hiding in a column you did not scroll to.
Everything lands as a single report you can read at the kitchen table, forward to a sibling, or print for a family meeting. No account, no waiting. Secure Stripe checkout, then the file.
Honest about what this is: a shortlist tool, not a verdict. The report gets you to the two or three homes worth touring and tells you what to ask when you get there. It does not replace an in-person visit. A rating is a snapshot from an inspection that may be months old, and the room, the smell, the staff, and the way a resident is spoken to are things you can only judge in person. Always visit before you decide.
